Your June Tarotscope Is Here!
Plus, how to make it a unique and personalized reading just for you
In less than a week, I will be a free woman! My semester will be over and let me just tell you that I have so much planned for us, tarot bestie. Please allow me to begin the festivities on this first of June with the return of our monthly tarotscopes.
If you’re new here, here are a few things to know:
First, while I am not a fortune-teller, I do believe in the synchronicity and magical timing of tarot wisdom, especially in trusted and like-minded communities like ours. So I am confident there will be a nugget of wisdom or resonance somewhere in here for all of us.
Second, as a staunch believer in reading tarot for ourselves, I have included two tarot questions with each tarotscope so you can consult your own tarot deck and get an even more personalized message. Because collective readings can only go so far in my humble opinion.
And third, the tarot cards pictured this month are from the newly released Wise Earth Medicine Tarot by Lalania Simone. If you’re into vibrant colors and animal symbolism, this is the tarot deck for you. Scroll through for some examples of this vivid deck of animal wisdom.
To check what the energy in June might look like for you, scroll down until you see your sign. Whether you check for your sun sign, moon sign, or rising sign is up to you. Whatever you decide (hell, check all three!), I am sure your intuition will not lead you astray.
Without further ado, here are your June tarotscopes!
Gemini | The Lovers (May 21 - June 20)
Your tarot card for June: Knight of Swords
When the Knight of Swords shows up, we are feeling passionate and alert and ready to call ‘em like we see ‘em. It’s the season of Gemini (an Air sign), so feel free to clear the cobwebs in your throat chakra and speak your truth. Whether it’s having lively conversation, expressing your creative side, or engaging in more small talk than you’re used to, spread your communicative wings this month and see where they take you.
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: How can I speak my truth this month? What does my intuition want me to express?
Cancer | The Chariot (June 21 - July 22)
Your tarot card for June: Three of Swords
Your sensitivity is your superpower, Cancer, no matter what people try to tell you. You may be feeling extra reflective and emotionally raw this month, which - if you’re anything like me - can definitely happen when your birthday is around the corner. The beauty of this Minor Arcana card lies in our ability to transmute our emotions into art and self-expression that can help other people understand and connect with their own feelings as well. How lucky we are to have you, Cancer!
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What emotions are trying to surface this month? How can I transmute difficulty into strength or growth?
Leo | Strength (July 23 - Aug. 22)
Your tarot card for June: Five of Wands Reversed
The Five of Wands is often considered the conflict card, but when it shows up reversed, it can reflect the positive and constructive energy of conflict: sharing ideas, expanding our horizons, and discovering new things that excite us. Don’t shy away from intriguing invitations, compelling conversations, or alluring adventures this month, Leo. If things have been feeling stale or stagnant lately, do your part to create opportunities for stimulation and inspiration.
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What new opportunity or adventure can I be on the lookout for this month? In what can I find inspiration?
Virgo | The Hermit (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
Your tarot card for June: King of Wands
The King of Wands can show up to indicate that it’s time to stake our claim professionally or creatively. In other words, it’s time not only to believe in our dream but to make it known to others as well. Sometimes we like to protect our big juicy goals (or save face because we’re afraid of rejection or failure), but this court card might be telling us it’s time to put ourselves out there. Go for that opportunity, introduce yourself to that potential collaborator or partner, or take whatever that next step to making your dream a reality looks like for you.
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: How can I let my inner light shine this month? How can I get closer to making my dreams a reality?

Libra | Justice (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
Your tarot card for June: Six of Cups
The Six of Cups usually points to nostalgia or childhood memories. This month, this Minor Arcana card seems to be inviting us to embrace the innocence and lightheartedness of our youth. How can we embrace lightness and silliness this month? Where can we laugh at ourselves or follow the breadcrumbs of our childlike interest and pleasure, rather than doing what conventional wisdom (whatever that even means) tells us is the most fitting, logical, or profitable thing to do?
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: How can I embrace a spirit of play this month? What area of my life can I approach with more lightheartedness?
Scorpio | Death (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)
Your tarot card for June: Ten of Wands Reversed
This reversal is giving major relief this month, Scorpio. A relief from worries, stress, and burdens that perhaps were not really ours to take on in the first place. Upright, the Ten of Wands points to overwhelm that is not only slowing us down but also dimming the inner fire that makes us our unique and magical selves. But with its reversal this month, we may be feeling the urge and agency to say no to commitments that are simply no longer a wise investment of our energy. And it’s probably been a long time coming!
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What has become more of a burden than a blessing in my life? What can I release or let go of this month?
Sagittarius | Temperance (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Your tarot card for June: Three of Cups
The Three of Cups here is such a wonderful, fun, and celebratory card. What a perfect June vibe, Sag! How can we invite more joy into our life and, more importantly, magnify it by sharing it with others? Even the most introverted among us often feels rejuvenated and loved after spending some time with people who can make us laugh or nerd out with us over our quirky interests. If your existing social circle doesn’t feel that way, now might be the perfect month to cast your friendship net a bit wider and see what you catch!
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: How can I invite more joy into my life? What can I share with others this month?
Capricorn | The Devil (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)
Your tarot card for June: Page of Pentacles
I’ve often referred to the Page of Pentacles as the professional development card. Page energy comprises curiosity and an interest in growth and expansion. And since we’re in the suit of Pentacles here, I wonder what career (or perhaps health, honestly) growth and development we might be intuitively pulled to explore this month. Perhaps we’re looking to pivot into a new niche, or considering revamping some of our processes or routines that have grown stale or not as efficient as they used to be. What new and exciting things are there to learn this month?
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: In what area of my life can I benefit from growth and expansion? What lesson is it time for me to learn?
Aquarius | The Star (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
Your tarot card for June: Seven of Cups
A couple times in my life, I’ve been wracked with indecision between two choices or two paths. When the Seven of Cups shows up, sometimes it’s to say that we are creating a dilemma where one does not need to exist. In other words, why can’t we have it all? Who says that we can’t enjoy the multitude of offerings life presents? We are multifaceted beings! We contain multitudes! This Minor Arcana card invites us to consider where we might free ourselves of a false limitation.
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What can help me make more aligned choices this month? In what area of my life can I embrace variety and abundance?

Pisces | The Moon (Feb. 19 - March 20)
Your tarot card for June: Temperance
This Temperace energy feels really similar to the Seven of Cups energy that showed up for Aquarius this month (see above)! I love the notion of alchemy in this Major Arcana card, and the invitation not only to recognize the many facets of our personalities and lives but to actively combine them to create something new and exciting. How can the seemingly competing parts of our personality or passions actually be our superpower, Pisces? What if rather than causing conflict, introducing certain components of our lives create a magical harmony?
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What personal alchemy or transformation is coming up for me this month? How can I accept myself more fully?
Aries | The Emperor (March 21 - April 19)
Your tarot card for June: Page of Wands
This Page might be my favorite! The Page of Wands often shows up in a reading when we are feeling particularly curious and eager to discover fascinating rabbit holes to get lost in. Notice what piques your interest this month and follow these intuitive nudges. If that means leaving the library (or magazine section of Barnes and Noble, honestly) with a huge stack of reading material, so be it. If that means going to the craft store and buying a random art tool or medium you’ve never used before, have at it. Summer is a time for novelty and adventure. Let us know where your intuition takes you!
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: What path does my intuition want me to follow this month? How can I embrace more curiosity in life?
Taurus | The Hierophant (April 20 - May 20)
Your tarot card for June: Three of Pentacles
Tauruses are often known as being headstrong and perhaps even stubborn. If that happens to be you right about now, this Three of Pentacles might be some much needed advice to stop trying to go it alone. We are stronger together and even the most intelligent among us can’t think of every possibility and every strategy and every angle. So how can we open up to the benefits of collaboration this month to speed up the progress we have been trying to make on an important project or goal?
Tarot questions to ask your deck to customize this message: How might I benefit from asking for help this month? How can I be more open to connection and collaboration?
Let me know how your tarotscope resonated with you, tarot bestie, and have a beautiful first week of June!
Always,
Annie
